Radical Radios provides FM transmitter hire, for short-term RSL (Restricted Service Licence) broadcast in the UK, along with advice, training and other equipment.
An RSL will broadcast to a very localised area (approximately 3-4 miles radius of the transmitter) and can be on-air for up to 28 days. Ofcom, the communications regulator in the UK grants short-term Restricted Service Licences on FM or AM for a wide range of reasons, for example for coverage of a sports event or other special project, such as training, or as a trial in preparation for applying for a local licence.
If required, we can, on your behalf, apply to Ofcom for the RSL and if appropriate obtain Performance Rights Society (PRS) PRS and Phonographic Performance Licence (PPL) PPL normally via a blanket-licence.

Whatever radio broadcast applications you may have in mind for your event or organisation, we can help.
